Professor Bhai Sahib Mohinder Singh Ahluwalia OBE KSG is a highly respected Spiritual Leader and Chairman of Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha (UK), a charitable organization with global branches dedicated to service and humanitarian work. Leading the Nishkam Group of Organisations, he has been instrumental in pioneering initiatives in education, health, and civic engagement, with Nishkam schools embodying a values-based, multifaith ethos in education.

Bhai Sahib’s influence extends internationally through his leadership in interfaith dialogue. As a founding member and Co-President of the European Council of Religious Leaders, and a trustee of Religions for Peace International, he has worked tirelessly to promote peace and understanding across faiths. He is also a patron of several organizations, including the Divine Onkar Mission and Anon Care (UK).

Recognized for his dedication to promoting religious faith and interfaith work, Bhai Sahib is the first British Sikh to be conferred the title of "Bhai Sahib" by the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar. He has been honored with three honorary doctorates for his services in religion, education, and science, and he has received prestigious accolades such as the Juliet Hollister Award for his contributions to global interfaith efforts.

Among his notable achievements, Bhai Sahib became the first Sikh to receive a Papal Knighthood of St. Gregory the Great in 2012, and in 2014, he was awarded the Guru Nanak Interfaith Prize from Hofstra University in recognition of his work in promoting interfaith dialogue and world peace. His lifelong commitment to fostering spiritual harmony and community service continues to inspire individuals and organizations worldwide.
