Darbar Academy Masterclass Series 2026 | Intermediate Level

This is a rare and special opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Tyagaraja’s Kritis under the guidance of two of Carnatic music’s most respected voices. In this intimate, full-day workshop — limited to just 40 participants — Ranjani and Gayatri will lead you through a focused exploration of selected Kritis, combining hands-on singing sessions with deep musical inquiry.

You will work on the fundamentals and techniques of Manodharma, refine your pronunciation, uncover the meaning behind the words, and learn how to infuse each Kriti with the Bhava and emotional spirit that brings it truly to life.

Notations will be provided in advance to prepare you for the day, and the workshop culminates in a shared plenary session — a moment of collective music-making that is as uplifting as it is rare. This is an experience shaped by artistry and authenticity, and an invitation to engage with tradition at its finest.

Places are limited to 40. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
