Dēvamanōhari is an upāṅga janyai of the 22nd mēḷakartaii Kharaharapriya. It is a ṣāḍava-vakra ṣāḍavaiii rāga. The svarasiv occurring in this rāga are ṣaḍja, chatuśruti riṣabha, śuddha madhyama, pañchama, chatuśruti dhaivata, kaiśiki niṣādav. Its ārōhaṇavi and avarōhaṇavii are

Riṣabha, niṣāda are rāgachāyā svarasviii. Riṣabha, pañchama, niṣāda are nyāsa svarasix. Sa-ma, sa-pa, ri-pa, ri-da are vādi-samvādi svaras (consonant notes).
It can portray rasasx like vīra (valour), adbhuta (wonder), raudra (anger) very effectively.
