Kanwal has 30 years’ experience within the non-profit sector on humanitarian and international programmes to advance women’s human rights and gender equality. She currently works freelance and provides voluntary support for Darbar, providing support to the board of trustees on governance issues. Kanwal is also the resident yoga teacher for the Darbar Festival. She is happiest attending to her growing jungle of house plants.
