Siddhie Kapshikar 

Siddhie Kapshikar is a London-based harmonium player, composer, and educator with strong roots in Hindustani classical music. She holds a Visharad diploma in Hindustani music and a Master’s in Audio Production from the University of Westminster. Trained under maestros such as Dr. L. Subramaniam and vocalist Yogeshwar Shrikrishna, Siddhie blends traditional ragas with contemporary sound design. She is also an audio-visual engineer at HSBC and the founder of Sirth Musicals, a platform that fuses classical music with modern technology. 

A versatile artist, Siddhie has performed at prestigious venues such as St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and Darbar Festival. She made headlines in 2025 by setting a Guinness World Record for continuous harmonium playing—10 hours, 23 minutes—covering 75 ragas across various genres. Her work spans collaborations across classical, fusion, and digital domains, fusing harmonium textures with cutting-edge multimedia and sound production. As an educator, she inspires globally, regularly teaching students through Sirth Musicals and delivering harmonium workshops that emphasize both tradition and innovation.

In 2025, Siddhie appeared in Darbar’s Leicester concert series, accompanying the esteemed Khayal vocalist Prabhat Rao alongside tabla artist Pulkit Sharma and esraj player Kirpal Panesar. Her harmonium enriched the evening’s palette with delicate saath-jugalbandi, offering subtle support during ragas and vocal phrases. The event showcased her seamless interplay across melody and rhythm, marking her as a standout emerging talent in the Darbar community and further cementing her role in bringing harmonium artistry to international classical stages.
