Darbar Festival 2020
It may have been the height of the Coronavirus pandemic, but still determined to continue to showcase the best talents in Indian classical music, our 15th anniversary edition of the Darbar festival transitioned to a digital-only format for the first time. It took place from 23–27 December 2020 and was hosted online via the Darbar Player. The festival featured a diverse mix of concerts, films, talks, and wellness sessions. Our featured artists included Carnatic vocalist Aruna Sairam and a special “Percussion Masters” showcase, and the Festival included the documentary ‘Churning The Ocean’ about Ustad Bahauddin Dagar and Bhakti Margi celebrating Pandit Arvind Parikh’s 93rd birthday.
